who I am + what I build

I’m Suraj Sheela , a Computer Science graduate from the University of North Texas (Magna Cum Laude, 3.8 GPA) and a Software Systems Engineer at UNT System. I build fast, reliable, and cleanly engineered systems across secure APIs, cloud automation, analytics pipelines, dashboards, and AI-powered applications.

My experience spans Cloud/DevOps and backend engineering: containerization, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and data modeling. I’m comfortable going end-to-end: design the architecture, build it, instrument it, and deliver it in a way that stakeholders can actually use and trust.

At TaskUs, I worked on AI-driven features and Salesforce workflows to improve engagement and operational efficiency. At UNT System, I’ve helped modernize infrastructure workflows and support automation/analytics initiatives that reduce manual reporting and improve visibility.

I’m focused on shipping high-impact systems in production environments and continuously raising the bar on engineering quality, scalability, and operational excellence.
